Suunto Vertical Long-Term Review – Better With Time?

It’s been nearly 10 months since Suunto introduced the Vertical – arguably their most important watch in years with new features never seen before on a Suunto watch like offline topo maps, solar charging, and a brand new design.

Since it was released, it’s changed quite a bit with substantial software updates including more training and performance feedback, the new user interface that was introduced on their Suunto Race, and plenty of enhancements and bug fixes along the way.

The Suunto Vertical has been heavy in my rotation of sports watches over the last 10 months. Here’s my long-term thoughts on Suunto’s new flagship watch.
