Apple Watch Ultra 2 & Series 9 Hands-On First Impressions

Apple Watch Ultra 2 & Series 9 Hands-On First Impressions

Apple just announced their new Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 bringing brighter displays as well as new features enabled by their new S9 SIP.

These new features include a new double-tap feature which allows you to perform certain functions with a quick double tap of your thumb and index finger, on-device Siri requests which result in faster and more secure responses, as well as Siri + Health features allowing you to ask for health-related stats like “What’s my resting heart rate” without the need for your phone.

Both the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 also get brighter displays with the Series 9 having a display that has a peak brightness of 2000 nits and the Ultra 2 with up to 3000 nits. In addition to that both the Ultra 2 and Series 9 have an overall lower brightness level of down to 1 nit which in theory should assist in battery consumption as well as being easier on the eyes in low light conditions.

For a full run-down of all these features as well as everything else new with the Ultra 2 and Series 9, check out the video below:
