Garmin Ski Activity Profile Demo with a fenix 5 Plus Ti

On a recent ski trip (actually, my first time skiing in 3 years – woohoo!) I thought it would be a great opportunity to create a video showing the downhill/alpine skiing activity profile on a Garmin device – specifically the fenix 5 Plus Ti. This activity profile is only available on most Garmin wearables that have a built-in altimeter since it utilizes the altimeter to track the number of runs. When you are descending it counts that as one run. When you are ascending on a chairlift, it automatically pauses and essentially ignores that data.
