Garmin fenix 6 Sapphire First Impressions

With the new fenix 6 line-up from Garmin, they are now offering a host of different options from a base model fenix 6 all the way up to a fenix 6X Pro Solar with, you guessed it, solar charging capabilities. The differences in models can be a little confusing, but here’s the breakdown starting from the top.

• Only one size (51mm)

fenix 6 Pro

• Maps
• Music
• WiFi
• 3 Size Options (6S Pro – 42mm, 6 Pro – 47mm, 6X Pro – 51mm)
• Sapphire Glass Option (this is technically called the fenix 6 Sapphire, but in fact is a Pro model just without the name)

• No maps, music, nor wifi
• 2 Size Options (6S – 42mm & 6 – 47mm)
